Troubleshooting Guide

Some issues you may run into when starting up Future Quest Island for the first time are:

Problem	Explanation	Solution
Survey lock-up for students	Once in a while, the system may have a glitch where the survey shows 100% progression but then locks up and the student can't move forward.	Step 1: Have the student log out of the island and then log back in. Step 2: Have student go to another island location and click on the sign to the island location that is locked up. Step 3: Email lori.cooney@umb.edu.
Generic Drop Down Menu Items NOT available	Students MUST complete all 4 surveys on the island (About Me Mountain, Social Sanctuary, and College & Career Cove)	You can view student activities in the teacher control panel. Find the student(s) that are unable to access the generic menu and make sure all 4 surveys are complete. If they aren't, send a message to a student (or tell them in person) to complete the surveys. Once they are completed, have the student access the menu item.
